Is it possible to replace the hydraulic power steering with electric power steering? Should we use a conversion kit or a new electric power steering system?
We plan to remove the transmission but will retain and continue using the original gear. Therefore, we can design a new adapter plate to connect with the original gear so that we can still use the existing automatic transmission. If there's no gear, we just remove the engine, pull out the exhaust system, and remove the fuel tank. Additionally, we need to find replacement parts, such as the heating coil of the air conditioner, the housing for the air conditioning coil located at the front of the car in the original cooling area, and locate spare parts for vacuum hoses, water tanks, and brake fluid reservoirs missing from the original list. These spare parts will be sent back for use in conjunction with modifications and timing. After moving the engine, remember to keep spare parts for mounting the engine and use them properly to place the original engine. Install Adapter Plate A to ensure that the gearbox and electric motor connect through the rubber mounting plate.
For the regular steering system, create a circuit and design it to be an electric steering system. Please keep the brake fluid reservoir and do not discard it.
For DC fast charging, you will need a circuit, which is hardware called EVCC (Electric Vehicle Charging Controller), to control the charging process and stop charging when the battery is full at a charging station. You will also need a cooling pump system to cool down the system during DC fast charging. We will provide you with the pricing soon for the DC fast charging system.
