Air Conditioning Technician Course - Home Air Conditioning, Short 3-day Course, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
What you will receive:
- A short 3-day course suitable for those with no prior knowledge, covering both theory and practice to prepare for the examination for the air conditioning technician license from the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor.
- Understanding the working principles of household air conditioning systems, including theoretical formulas for calculations.
- Knowledge of basic troubleshooting and identification of causes of air conditioning system malfunctions and compressor equipment.
- Understanding the principles of service provision, suitable replacement equipment, and repair service practices.
- Practical experience in troubleshooting, installation, and use of various air conditioning tools, checking for malfunctions, refilling refrigerants, performing vacuum tests, checking for refrigerant leaks, and assessing electrical systems, relays, fuses, cool and hot coils, wiring, and cleaning both external and internal parts of the air conditioning system.
- A certificate to serve as evidence of experience and preparation for the air conditioning technician license examination from the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor.
Course Details:
- Day 1: Safety, theory of air conditioning systems, and calculation formulas. Participants will practice measuring the temperature and pressure of real systems and use the results to calculate BTU, COP, system efficiency, heat transfer, etc. Additionally, participants will learn to use psychrometric charts. Bring a laptop as various software will be used on this day.
- Day 2: Practical inspection of electrical systems, air conditioning equipment, and various air conditioning components such as relays, fans, switches, fuses, and compressor refrigerant measurement using a multimeter.
- Day 3: Practical hands-on experience using various air conditioning tools and equipment for troubleshooting, refrigerant refilling, vacuum tests, leak checks, electrical system checks, relay and fuse checks, and installing and cleaning both external and internal parts of the air conditioning system. Theoretical and practical training on electrical circuits for solar air conditioners and preparation for the air conditioning technician license examination by the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor.
Participants: 5 people
Materials to bring: A multimeter, safety shoes or protective footwear. On the first day, bring a laptop as several software programs will be used.
Instructor: Dr. Songwut Krasae-in, Energy Engineering, former university lecturer, with over 20 years of experience teaching air conditioning technicians and holding an air conditioning technician license from the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labor.
