Electric Metal Welding Technician Course - TIG, MIG, MMA, Gas Welding, and Plasma Cutting, Basic Level
Day and Time: 2 days or 12 hours, Saturday-Sunday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Prerequisites: None specified, suitable for those who have not welded before
What Participants Will Learn:
Understanding welding methods and types of electric welding machines: TIG, MIG, MMA, Gas Welding, and Plasma Cutting on practice pieces of sheet metal and pipes.
Knowledge of welding various metals: cast iron, stainless steel, and rust-resistant steel, including the selection of the appropriate welding method, identifying defects, and correcting welding work.
Awareness of safety measures in the workplace and precautions when using welding equipment.
Teaching principles and basic practices focusing on short distances. Mastery requires additional self-practice or consultation after the course.
Course Details:
Day 1: Morning - Theory of TIG welding, afternoon - Practical TIG welding.
Day 2: Morning - Theory of MIG welding, MMA, and Plasma Cutting, afternoon - Practical welding tasks. Additionally, there are experience training machines for gas welding and plasma cutting. Students can inquire with the instructor.
Number of Trainees: Limited to 1 person due to the limited number of training equipment.
Student Preparation: Wear safety shoes and socks, flame-resistant clothing, and long-sleeved shirts to protect against radiation.
Suitable for: Welders who can apply their skills to related jobs.

Instructor: Dr. Songsawat Krasaein, a Norwegian government scholarship student and former university lecturer, along with the Dako welding team, experienced professionals in creating, repairing, and welding various car frames every day, providing consultation.
Course Fee: THB 6,420 (VAT included) for one-on-one training. Accompanying observers (1-2 people) are allowed. Schedule available on request. Recommended on Saturdays and Sundays.
We have prepared training equipment: TIG MIG MMA machines, gas welding machines, and plasma cutting machines. Welding masks and gloves are provided.

Day 1: Begin with studying the TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Welding Process:
- Familiarize with the equipment and tools used in the TIG process.
- Material selection and inspection for welding.
- Learn the basic techniques of TIG welding.
- Study the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welding Process:
Day 2: Explore the MMA (Manual Metal Arc) Welding Process:
- Understand the equipment and tools used in the MMA process.
- Material selection and inspection for welding.
- Learn the basic techniques of MMA welding.
- Study the Plasma Welding Process:
- Familiarize with the equipment and tools used in the Plasma process.
- Material selection and inspection for welding.
- Learn the basic techniques of Plasma welding.
- Practice welding metals using the learned processes on Day 1 and Day 2.
After gaining a basic understanding of these four welding processes, further practice and learning are required to specialize in each. Additionally, knowledge of safety in metal welding and equipment care is essential for safe and efficient work in this industry.
