Hands-on training for repairing CAN-Bus (Control Area Network) electrical systems in Electric Vehicles (EV) for 5 days, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This course involves hands-on repair of CAN-Bus electrical systems in EVs, covering the entire vehicle. Additionally, it includes the installation and configuration of EV system setups
through dismantling, disassembling, and reassembling. The course enables participants to navigate the entire electrical circuit of a vehicle and simultaneously install components such as high-voltage wiring for CAN-Bus communication, K-line signals, using tools to set up PDU, ECU, VCU, Powertrain, control units, motors, and controllers. Students can both create and troubleshoot EVs, which adhere to the OBD2 plug standard and various sensors such as gears, brakes, accelerators, digital odometers, speedometers, torque, and temperature sensors. It also covers the entire electrical system, including simulating scenarios for inspection, analysis, and repair on real vehicles, providing a practical foundation for students to simulate training with tools and EV systems.
Course Content:
- Basic information about CAN Bus technology and components in car EVs.
- Basic information about the differences between low-speed and high-speed CAN Bus.
- Experimentation to find electrical characteristics of the CAN Bus.
- Experimental testing of low-speed and high-speed CAN Bus.
- Introduction to the structure of the CAN message frame.
- Analysis of CAN packets using CAN monitors and oscilloscopes.
- Repair and sending CAN messages through a PC.
- Checking the impact on low-speed and high-speed CAN Bus by measuring.

Course Schedule:
- Days 1-2: Theory of CAN-Bus, LIN, K-Line systems, practical modifications, disassembly, installation, and testing of the drive system and electrical systems in the lab kit.
- Days 3-4: Practical checks on the electrical system, connecting various electrical devices, relays, fans, switches, fuses, walking the wiring, CAN wires, ECU boxes, various control boxes, using multimeters, OBD Scan Tools, BOB, oscilloscopes, and computer software to check CAN-Bus with various vehicle equipment. - Day 5: Practical repair on real cars, using various electrical tools, checking for malfunctions, connecting camera systems, installing Android screens, communicating with the steering wheel, multifunction, connecting rear and front camera systems, repairing remotes, starting the engine remotely, power window motors, front headlights, brake lights, tail lights, connecting battery pack circuits, high-voltage systems, temperature sensors, and analyzing high-level CAN-Bus using special tools to identify faulty nodes.
Class Size: 15 students

Preparation: Multimeter, wear high-voltage insulated electrician's gloves or safety shoes. No rings, watches, or metal accessories allowed.
