Modification of Oil-Powered Cars to Electric Course

A short-term course for time efficiency. The electrically converted car is a pre-prepared, 10-year-old used pickup truck with a PMSM motor, rated at 40 kW and peak power of 80 kW. This vehicle, crafted by the school's mechanics team, is intended for transportation and electric scooter repair within Bangkok. The modification involves transforming it from the original oil system to an electric one, including a 10 kWh battery pack, a water-cooled system, EVCC VCU, and communication protocol with the fast-charging station at speeds of 100 km/h and 200 km/h charging capabilities. The team will explain the motor, compressor, inverter, and battery removal, electrical control system connection, and installation of the new electric air conditioning system. Finally, the system will be tested outside the vehicle and integrated back into the original structure.
Course Details:
- Day 1: Theory - Explanation of equipment selection and installation methods.
- Day 2: Practical - Removal of the system from the vehicle.
- Day 3: Testing the external drive system.
- Days 4-5: Assembly of various components with wiring according to the original setup.
Participants: Hands-on practical training for individuals.

Preparation for class: Wear insulated footwear or safety shoes, avoid wearing rings, watches, bracelets, and metal accessories.
Facilitated by the Dako team, professionals with real experience in repairing EVs, who design, build, repair, and assemble daily. Participants receive a certificate from the company.
