Chiller Design and Installation Course for Large-Scale Refrigeration Systems," 5 Days, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
What You Will Learn:
- Understanding the operation of air conditioning systems, chillers, and large-scale refrigeration units. Theoretical knowledge of heat load calculation formulas.
- Practical design of chillers, selection of sizes for evaporator coils, condenser coils, compressors, air ventilation systems, air-cooled chillers, shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
- Pipe system design.
Course Details:
- Days 1-2: Theory of Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Exergy Analysis, air conditioning systems, and heat load calculation formulas. Practical exercises include measuring real system temperatures and pressures, followed by calculations of BTU, COP, system efficiency, heat transfer, and the use of Psychrometric charts. Notebooks and various software programs will be utilized on these days.
- Days 3-5: Practical exercises in designing sizes for evaporator coils, condenser coils, air-cooled, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, plate-fin compressors, and air ventilation systems. Pipe system design will also be covered.
Participants: Limited to 5 individuals.
Prerequisites: Participants should have a basic understanding of air conditioning or have completed a basic air conditioning course.
What to Bring: Bring a laptop, as various software programs will be used for system calculations.
Instructor: Dr. Songwut , an energy engineering professional, former university lecturer, recipient of a Norwegian government scholarship, and an experienced air conditioning factory design engineer with over 20 years of teaching experience. He holds an air conditioning technician license from the Department of Skill Development.
