High Voltage Battery Pack Course for Electric Sedans - 380V
Course Content: High Voltage Battery (HV) for Electric Vehicles (EV) 200-400 Volts, divided into three learning modules:
Learning Module 1: Battery Pack Repair
This module covers the comprehensive repair of hybrid and plug-in hybrid car battery packs. Participants will practice disassembling, removing busbars, wire frame harnesses, cleaning, and immersing in solution. They will study the components of the system, learn the step-by-step process of rebuilding and reconditioning using testing equipment to plot graphs. The module also includes segregating cells, checking cell triggers, and arranging cells by resistance. Participants will assemble a new pack, reconnect the electrical circuit, and reinstall it in the original position.
Learning Module 2: Repairing 100% of EV High Voltage Pack
This module involves disassembling, assembling, and repairing the entire high-voltage pack of an electric vehicle. Participants will analyze faults, study the positions of various components, and learn about Precharge, contactor relay, Junction block, Fuse box ACP&OBC, DC to DC, magnetic relay, liquid coolant, input current, output current, and large pack modules. Practical training includes disassembly, assembly, placement in the original tray, and inserting a new pack module, with the ability to check the battery using an OBD2 tool scanner.
Learning Module 3: Building a New 400V Pack
This module focuses on creating and assembling a new 400V pack for electric car conversions. Participants will learn to calculate voltage and current requirements before connecting to the BMS circuit in each module. The module covers cell arrangement, DC Fuse circuit, 2P circuit breaker, creating a new packaging case, metal welding for battery wrapping, and creating service Inlet and outlet points, signal plug-in points, and modifys fuse box.
*Note: Module 3 is simpler than Module 2, less complex, and more straightforward.
Participants will receive:
- Knowledge of cell selection and using various types of EV car batteries, voltage and current design
- Types of charging, including Type-2 and DC CCS-2
- Tools for battery packing, measurement devices, and BMS selection
- Software and OBD tools for battery quality measurement
- Hands-on experience disassembling and assembling a Toyota Prius hybrid sedan battery pack (380V100Ah) and testing it in a real vehicle
- Understanding of providing service for high voltage battery replacement
