Used Car Business and Professional Second-hand Car Inspection Course, 3 Days
In 2022, the sales of second-hand cars reached 900,000 to 1 million units, with new cars worth over 80 billion Baht. The profit per car is comparable to, or even higher than, new cars with red plates. This business is considered intriguing and suitable for those in the second-hand car trade, owners of second-hand car dealerships, auto repair shop owners, car mechanics, and those who have completed certification.
We will teach the mindset of running a second-hand car business, principles of buying and selling at the right prices, sourcing cars for sale while practicing internet-based searches. Topics include channels for selling cars, finding financing options, recommending financing, various types of income from sales, commission from financing, cut-off sales, consignment sales, arranging financing for customers, techniques for consignment or short-term pawn services, and providing towing services to customers. We'll also cover opening a second-hand car dealership and the vehicle registration transfer process.
Day 1: Theory, evaluating the condition of second-hand cars, documentation, sources of second-hand cars, accident history, repainting, flooding, modifications, external and internal structure inspection, parts replacement, engine checks, and price valuation. Practical exercises in grading the condition of second-hand cars, scoring various components, and business assembly techniques.
Day 2: Practice technical inspection, check 38 items on cars, use OBD scan tools to read abnormal engine values, use engine listening devices, check batteries, charging systems, check the suspension system, check the air conditioning system, and inspect electric car models. Use multi-meters to check electrical systems, use oscilloscopes to measure CAN-bus communication systems.
Cars used for training: Honda City, Honda Jazz, Toyota Prius frame, Toyota Altis, Neta electric car, and others.
Class size: 5-10 people. Participants are required to wear covered shoes.
Instructor: Dr. Songwut Krasae-in, a mechanical engineer, former Norwegian government scholarship student, former university lecturer, and a professional team with real experience in repairing electric vehicles. Participants will receive a certificate from the company.
